Moving On!
After 36 years in Hurst, we are starting our move to N. Richland Hills tomorrow. The movers will pack Monday & Tuesday, load Wednesday, unload at new house Thursday, and begin unpacking Friday. Kellye is ram-rodding the move since I am clueless in letting someone else move for me. Julie has completed a two-week project to manage contractors who painted and installed carpet/wood floors in the new house. The results are simply gorgeous!
Jan is doing well except for dealing with constant nausea and other system issues. We saw several doctors this week. Her surgeon thinks she is progressing well, with healing of the neck area improved enough that they took all the stitches out. He says he wants to do some cosmetic surgery to remove some of the bulk of the prior flap surgery, and straighten out the Trach tube opening. Jan is not too excited about more surgery so soon (2-3 weeks), but will do what is necessary. She currently is too weak to get involved much in the move, but went by to look at the house a little last week after a doctor visit.
